In June 2022 Elixom SMS will added Multi-factor Authentication to its list of security features.
Security Key – users will be able to log in to staff and student accounts with a security key (key fob).
FIDO – users will be able to register personal devices to allow passwordless login using a WebAuthn or FIDO certified device.
Two Factors (2FA) – Users will be able to add a verification step (second factor) to log in attempts from unknown devices. This will involve the user being prompted for a one time access code available on their phone or email.
